Mathematics

Mathematics reveals much about the underlying structure of the universe. As students study math, they see evidence of our all powerful Creator who is very much concerned about order and the value of His creation.  From the initial unit of study, students see a basic understanding about the place and value of the 10 digits we use. The God we serve is also very concerned about relationships. We find a dynamic relationship between inverse operations such as addition and subtraction and then  multiplication and division.  Intricate patterns can also be observed in God’s creation….within our math studies, we teach the children to look for patterns to make sense of the whole and not see everything as a discrete isolated part.  “And even the very hairs of your head are numbered.”  Matthew 10:30
